About The Victorian

Located in the heart of Downtown Youngsville, just five miles from Wake Forest and about 20 miles from Downtown Raleigh, The Victorian Youngsville offers something you won't find at a traditional event venue: a beautifully restored 1898 Queen Anne Victorian home paired with inviting outdoor spaces designed for celebrating.

Inside, you'll find original architectural details and charming rooms that give your wedding a sense of history and character. Outside, couples can exchange vows surrounded by greenery, enjoy cocktails beneath our magnificent magnolia tree, and celebrate with family and friends under our spacious reception tent.

The Victorian was created for couples who want a wedding that feels beautiful, personal, and effortless—with the space to celebrate up to 200 guests without feeling like you're in a typical event hall.

You bring the people and the vision.

We'll provide the setting and help you enjoy the celebration.

The J.B. Perry House

Built around 1898, The Victorian has been part of Youngsville's story for more than a century.

The home was built by local merchant J.B. Perry, a prominent figure in the community's early growth. In 1896, Perry and five colleagues established the Youngsville Tobacco Market, and by 1899 he had founded the Bank of Youngsville, serving as its first president. He also served on the Railroad Board of Commissioners and remained an important part of the community until his passing in 1940.

Today, much of the home's historic character remains, giving couples the opportunity to celebrate surrounded by original charm and more than a century of stories.

It's more than a beautiful place to get married. It's a place with a history worth becoming part of.

Architecturally Original

Step inside The Victorian and you'll find the details that make this historic home so special. Much of the original craftsmanship remains, including the intricate woodwork, window panes, and downstairs light fixtures.

These aren't details recreated to look historic—they're part of the home's story, preserved for more than a century.

Today, they provide a beautiful and distinctive setting for couples who want their wedding to feel personal, timeless, and unlike anything else.

History Uncovered

During renovations at The Victorian, the remains of a historic pool were uncovered in the area behind the home where our reception tent stands today. Original stonework from the pool remains on the property, offering a glimpse into how the grounds were once enjoyed by those who called The Victorian home.

Today, this beautiful garden setting provides a charming backdrop for ceremonies, photographs, and moments with family and friends. Surrounded by historic details and mature greenery, it's a setting that feels both timeless and completely your own.
