A charming wedding venue located in the heart of Downtown Youngsville; The Victorian is settled along Southeast Railroad Street in a Queen-Anne Victorian home with ample outdoor space. Just five miles North of Wake Forest & only 20 miles from the heart of Downtown Raleigh, you will find the splendor of The Victorian, which is like no other event space around.
The Victorian was originally a home built in the late 1800's, and was carefully restored to the splendor it is today. Enjoy cocktails in the courtyard beneath our beautiful magnolia tree, and dinner under the stars with friends and family. With indoor and outdoor space available, The Victorian is the perfect place to host your wedding or event.
Circa 1898, The Victorian was originally built by merchant, J.B. Perry. Perry established The Youngsville Tobacco Market, alongside 5 other colleagues in 1896.
In 1899, Perry founded and was President of the Bank of Youngsville. Perry was also on the Railroad Board of Commissioners and later passed away in 1940.
There are many elements throughout The Victorian that are original to the home, such as all of the woodworking, window panes, and the light fixtures in the downstairs of the home.
During renovations, an English garden was uncovered in the back of the property, in the area where wedding receptions take place today. Some of the original stonework still exists in the yard and many wedding guests enjoy using the garden as a beautiful backdrop for photos with friends and family.
